Welcome to my creative world. I’m Pieter Burger, a freelance artist and Fine Arts tutor based in Berlin, Germany, originally from South Africa. My artistic journey is rooted in oil painting, mixed media drawing, and sculpture, but my true passion lies in crossing traditional boundaries and weaving together diverse visual languages.My work is a rich tapestry of art history, personal photographs, magazine clippings, film stills, academic art, commercial imagery, illustration, and street art. By combining these visual “quotes,” I create networks of meaning that reflect the complexity of today’s world.I believe that art is not just about autonomy or isolated expression—it’s about interaction.
